Es pot arribar a Alacant a través de l’autopista AP 7, que recorre la província de sud-oest a nord-est, connectant al nord amb València i al sud amb Múrcia i Andalusia. També es pot accedir per la A-31 que enllaça amb Madrid A-31, Autovia Madrid-Alacant. Des de Madrid, uneix l’interior d’Espanya amb la ciutat d’Alacant.

Connecta la ciutat d’Alacant amb la costa sud i nord de la província d’Alacant N.340. Carretera nacional que connecta la ciutat d’Alacant amb l’interior de la província (fins a Múrcia).

L’accés a l’aeroport es realitza per la A-7 i N-332, sent el temps mitjà del recorregut des de fins al centre d’Alacant de 15 minuts, 30 minuts en hora punta.
Hi ha una parada de Taxis enfront de la porta d’Arribades.
La línia d’autobús C6 Alacant-Aeroport connecta l’edifici terminal de l’Aeroport L’Altet (ALC) amb el centre d’Alacant cada 20 minuts, tots els dies de l’any, amb parada en l’estació de trens Renfe i altres punts estratègics d’Alacant.
